ERCC CLUB EVENING TIME TRIAL SERIES
The Club Evening TT Series is run on Wednesday Evenings between April and August with 2026’s programme starting with 1 lap only (due to light levels), of the E18/11 (East Hanningfield circuit) on 1st April at 18:45.
Currently the E39/6b (Middlemead circuit is out of action due to long term traffic lights but hopefully we will be able to use later in season. Please check the TT WhatsApp group for updates and ask to be added to this if not already on.
Southend Wheelers riders will be joining us fortnightly and we are very glad to have their support.
Headquarters for the E18 circuit will be The Royal Tiger Indian restaurant located on the Old Southend Road, Rettendon Common, CM3 8EE where toilets and refreshments can be found and where payment is made and numbers collected.
Signing on and numbers will be available from 17:45 on 1st April and 8th April, thereafter TT start time will be 19:00 with 2 laps and signing on and numbers available from 18:00. The course start is about a 10 min ride away. After the TT we usually socialise with a drink and chat in the bar and sometimes cake!
Entry costs this year will be the same as last year, ie £4.50 for club members, £5.00 for guests and £3.00 for juniors. Payment can either be cash on the night, or bank transfer to ERCC Acct No: 33611892, Sort code: 20-34-69, Reference: your surname, followed by TT.
Also for a payment of £20 you get 5 rides, making it a little cheaper than paying weekly.
The other thing to mention are that either a road bike or TT bike can be used with overall winners for each category. To qualify for this you must be an ERCC member and ride at least 10 events.
